Everyone
Plays Everyone !

All
tables are for match play during club operation hours.
The Club objective is to foster an environment where
everyone plays
everyone. If you would like to practice, show up with your
practice partner when the club first opens. You
are free to play as long as you wish so, long
as there are NO other players waiting for a table.
When
you first arrive at the Club, enter your name on the Signup Board
on the table on which you'd like to play. Before entering your
name on a table, you might want to ask other players about which
matches are just starting or are about to finish in order to
minimize your wait.
Tell
the players on that table that you've signed up to play there.
If you are playing, regularly check the Signup Board to see if
other players are to play on that table. If no players
are signed up on your table but there are players waiting, show
consideration and ask those waiting who is next to play.
Once
a player is signed up to play on the table on which you're
presently playing, limit your warm-up to less than 5 minutes. If
you prefer to not play a match, you may instead stay on
for another
20 minutes. It's
not fair to those waiting to warm up for a longer period.
After
a brief warm up, play a best 3 games out of 5 match (11 point
games), where the winner stays on the table to play the next
person.
After
3 consecutive match wins on a given table by one player, the
loser of the last match stays on the table, and the winner is
free to place his or her name on the Signup Board.

Respect
at all time the playing area and others around you. That
includes the Fernald's facility, their staff, their residents,
their visitors, other WTTC's members and our guests.
Treat
other's property with care - it's not your and you don't want to
pay for it.
Keep
all doors to the facility closed, except when you are actually
entering or leaving.
NO
alcohol or tobacco use in the building whatsoever!
NO
disruptive behavior,
loud outbursts, or swearing!
Wear
only non-marking tennis-type sneakers.
Always
keep a good attitude and be courteous to all
players.
When
warming up with your playing partner, please give him/her the
courtesy of getting their rhythm going without blasting every
ball past them.
It can be very frustrating to your partner to have to chase every
balls constantly and not be able to warm up properly. ;-)
When
going to and from a table, please walk as close as possible to
the wall or barriers, to avoid entering other playing courts and
please
do this quickly...
Please
call a "LET" if your ball enters another player's
court or space. Players will be glad to retrieve your ball
and you won't
be at risk of getting hit during a stroke or ran into physically.
If
other players call a "LET" and their
ball is near you, please help to retrieve their ball so they
won't have
to
walk through
other courts and disrupt many tables.
Please
bring a table/barriers out of the storage room for your own
use if
none are
available in the playing area at the time and if there is still
room to set one up.
At
the end of the playing night, please
help to put tables/barriers away if you could... unless it's
your birthday! :D
