LOCATION
Waltham Table Tennis Club at The Fernald Center, Greene Gym Building, 200 Trapelo Road Waltham, MA 02452FORMAT
Players are grouped into round robins. The top player in each round robin advances to single elimination competition. All matches in all events are first to win 3 games to 11 points.
EQUIPMENT
Matches will be played on 7 STIGA Expert Roller tables and 1 STIGA Centrefold using STIGA premium white 3 star balls. The gym has a wood floor and bright lighting.
ELIGIBILITY AND RULES
You must be a member of the USATT or another ITTF-affiliated national association. If you are a not a current member, we offer USATT memberships for sale at the tournament. All current USATT and ITTF rules apply. No leather or black-soled shoes are allowed. The tournament referee is Mal Anderson, International Referee. Age restrictions apply to Junior events.
RATINGS AND UNRATED PLAYERS
All match results will reflect on your USATT rating. Unrated participants are welcome and will play all matches at the round robin level, which will establish an initial rating, but w ill not advance to single elimination competition even if they are among the winners.

How To Find Us To The Fernald Center: From the West: Mass Pike I-90 to Exit 14 Route 128 I-95 North to Exit 28A Trapelo Road/Belmont. From Route 128, follow Trapelo Road for 3.1 miles, through 3 sets of stop lights plus 1 flashing light. You’ll pass the National Archives on your right. The Fernald Center will be on your right. From the South: Take 128 I-95 to Exit 28A. Follow the above directions from there. From the North: onto Trapelo Road. Follow the above directions from there. To the Greene Gym: After entering through the Main Entrance on Trapelo Road, go straight until the road ends. Bear right in front of the Therapeutic Equipment Center. Turn right at the Yield sign. The Greene Gym is the last building on the left, just after the church on the right. Just follow the solid black line from the Main Entrance on Trapelo Road directly to the Greene Gym on the nearby map. The Greene Gym is about 0.6 miles from the Main Entrance on Trapelo Road. Enter through the front entrance, and ring the doorbell on the right wall just inside the front door. Please sign the guest log when entering and exiting the building. |
